SCRIPPS RANCH

POWAY
The name Poway (Pauwai) is derived from the language of the Native Indians who roamed the area for several hundred years before the Spaniards came. Poway lies north of the city of San Diego and south of the city of Escondido.
RANCHO BERNARDO
Rancho Bernardo is the northernmost residential community within the City of San Diego. Rancho Bernardo is centered on Interstate 15 just south of Lake Hodges and the San Pasqual Valley. Rancho Bernardo is a master-planned community that includes private parks and clubs for each neighborhood in the community. RB is a wonderful community.
4S RANCH
During the early 1800s, Spanish settlers from Mission San Diego de Alcala grazed livestock in the valleys and hills of what is now 4S Ranch. 4S Ranch now provides a diversity of architectural and natural elements. With multiple walking trails, as well as, a community garden, a splash park, a baseball field, 22-acres of community parks, and retail outlets and a top-rated County library.
RANCHO PEÑASQUITOS
In 1823, San Diego County's first Mexican land grant was awarded and a small adobe house on the land known as Rancho de Los Peñasquitos. Rancho Peñasquitos is a residential community nestled at the base of Black Mountain. A third of Rancho Peñasquitos has been left as open space, making this community of rolling hills a prime location for recreation.
CARMEL VALLEY
Carmel Valley has served as a home for Native Americans, Spanish ranchers, gold miners and dairy farmers. Now Carmel Valley is a flourishing community that is easily accessed from much of San Diego County, making it an ideal location for homes, offices, hotels, shopping areas and restaurants.
